I know of only one on the register.
I have sent a PM to that member in the hope that I get to see his car as I have not actually seen one in the flesh yet.
I am hoping they are as cool/mean/aggressive looking in real life as they are in the pictures.
You really picked up a beauty in #271.
I did see it for sale on Pistonheads, but it was outside of my price-range.
Wish you all the best with it.

Thanks for the comments on #271 .... I was lucky to get her!! :good:
The car does look so much better in the flesh, its not a subtle car by any means .... "evil on wheels" would be a good description!! :spiteful:
I actually nearly bought one late last year that had made it over to Scotland from N.I .... glad I didnt now though!! ;)
Good luck with the search mate .... you wont regret it!! :D
Norm.

tb or not tb & Scooydoo - Thanks.
iggy - That car has been on Pistonheads for a while now & I had discounted it because it has more miles than I want on my car & because it has the blue cloth seats & I want either the leather or the leather/alcantara seats.
There are a few others on there too, some of them are real beauties, but they are either too high in price or too far away.
There is one on there at £17,995 that I got really excited about until I called the seller & he told me it was a cat D damaged car that had been repaired. It looked well repaired in the pictures, but I want my first ever impreza to be as immaculate as I can afford & my first ever impreza experience to be as trouble-free as possible.
I am driving an Astra VXR at the minute. I know they don't compare, love the sound of that boxer engine, but I am happy with it for now, & a bit of patience now will hopefully pay dividends in the long-term.
Thank you all for the welcome.
I wish I lived a bit nearer to where the club meets because I have been a car nut since I saw American Graffiti when I was 13, & I have never had any local friends who were into them the way I was. Most of the people I know don't understand why I stop in the street to admire a nice car, or why anyone would want to put £20k+ into a car.
They nearly managed to talk me out of getting the VXR last year, but I have never regretted buying it as it gives me pleasure every time I step into it, even if I am only going to work on a dreary wet Monday morning.
I imagine the RB320 will be 10 times better as it is a beast compared to the VXR  .

I was just grateful that he told me the car had been damaged when I called, as I could have travelled all the way over to Lancashire I think it was to look at it for nothing.

Just goes to show the importance of doing an HPI check on any second hand car!! ;)
I did it on #271 even though I knew there wouldn't be any problems .... got a nice "all clear" certificate now"" :D
Cant imagine how I would feel to pay all that money on a car only to find it was a previous insurance write off .... or had a mountain of finance outstanding on it!! :sweatingbullets:

I do love my VXR, which is a 2008 power-red one by the way, but I think the RB320 will hopefully take my interest in cars to a whole new level.
Norm - don't worry, I won't buy one without doing a HPI check first, just-in-case.

Milner there is no hopfulness about it! Once you sit in that seat and take her for a drive! And stick the boot down in second and third! The smile on your face will make your ears hurt!! It will plant you to the seat like warp speed! You in the somerset area? i will take you out in her!
